About
Hi, my name is Marie-Eve Carrière. My pronouns are she/her.
I am a versatile Professional Writer and Communicator with a keen interest in education, advocacy, and advancing social change.
I aim to build a more informed and compassionate world through the written word by acting as a vehicle, driving thoughtful stories and ideas forward.
I believe in working smarter, not harder, and in challenging the status quo—my motto is "try different". I help you structure and execute your vision to maximize your audience engagement, retain readership, and create opportunities.
As a creative thinker, I am also committed for life to making a positive impact on the lives of others. I am particularly passionate about mental health, neurodiversity, sexuality and comprehensive sex education at all ages, the 2SLGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, intersectional feminism, body-positivity, and parenting. Especially the many ways all of these naturally intersect. I can help you find the best words to communicate your message, spread knowledge, and impact communities in need.
I live in Ottawa with my wonderful husband and our ultra-inquisitive young son. I am a collector of colourful typography mugs, a home decor enthusiast, and a lover of podcasts that aim to burst open curious minds by challenging conventional thought.
